  • July 9th - World Rum Day
World Rum Day 2022 takes place on Saturday 9th July (the 2nd Saturday of July each year) and is the annual, global celebration of rum and distilleries. Join rum bars, brands, distillers and rum lovers across the world in coming together to enjoy rum with celebrations, promotions, online events and more!

World Rum Day was launched in 2019 by Paul Jackson, spirits writer and Editor of World Rum Guide. It is celebrated on the 2nd Saturday of July each year, becoming the focal point of the wonderful series of occasions at the start of July, including National Mojito Day, National Piña Colada Day and National Daiquiri Day.

  • July 10th - National Pina Colada Day
Did you know that piña colada means 'strained pineapple'?! This popular cocktail made with rum, cream of coconut or coconut milk, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It may be garnished with either a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, or both.
There are two versions of the drink, both originating in Puerto Rico, though the exact history is disputed ranging from a 19th-century pirate to a bartender in the 1960s.
  • July 11th - National Mojito Day
What more do you need on a hot summer’s day than to cool off with this classic minty cocktail? The mojito ranks among the nation’s favorite cocktails and is traditionally made with white rum, lime juice, sugar, mint, and sparkling water. It’s a cocktail that is enjoyed for its fresh and unique taste and although the recipe has been revamped many times over with herbs and fruits the classic is still the most adored.
  • July 19th - National Daiquiri Day
A daiquiri is rum-based cocktail, which is believed to have been one of the favourite drinks of Ernest Hemingway and John Kennedy. Daiquiri was supposedly invented in Cuba. Its invention is usually ascribed to Jennings Cox, American mining engineer and Congressman William A. Chanler is credited with popularization of this cocktail in clubs in New York in the early 1900s.

Spiced Rum 3

Made using Guyanese molasses, our multi-award winning spiced rum is celebrated for its vibrant notes of tropical fruits. Coconut, ripe mango, and papaya stand out against the delicate aroma of marzipan. On the palate, dark burnt sugar transforms into creamy caramel with hints of cinnamon, liquorice and banana.

Guyanese rums are among the fullest in body of all Caribbean rums, known for their complex depth, rich fruity flavour and smooth finish. Guyana is perhaps best known for the famed Demerara River, on the banks of which grow the finest sugarcanes, essential for the production of high quality dark and spiced rums.

Imbued with the bountiful history of the Caribbean, Spiced Rum 3 is reminiscent of the English style rums that were imported from the tropical regions, before being blended and stored in British dockyards along the Thames dating as far back as the 18th Century.
